Language teacher and author
Simon Vega is a language teacher and the author behind Vega Publishing. He teaches languages and writes the books around what learners actually need to practice, then keeps improving them as readers write in.
The team
Behind each title is a small group of teachers and proofreaders. They read every book before it ships, check the exercises against the answer key, and flag anything unclear for a rewrite.
How a book is made
Step 1
A structured outline
Each book starts with an outline that fixes the level, the order of topics and what a learner should be able to do at the end.
Step 2
An exercise bank with validated answer keys
Exercises are written in a bank and every answer is checked against the key by a script and by a person, so the key matches the page.
Step 3
Proofreading rounds
Teachers and proofreaders read the full text in rounds, for language accuracy first and then for clarity and layout.
Step 4
Print and Kindle checks
We check the paperback and the Kindle edition separately, because a layout that works on paper can break on a phone.
Step 5
Reader feedback
After release, readers tell us what to fix or add. Write to [email protected] and a person reads it.
