Privacy Policy
Last updated 12 June 2026
Vega Publishing (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates www.vegapublishing.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Site and improve our books.
Who we are
Vega Publishing is an independent publisher of language-learning books and free study resources. You can reach us any time at [email protected].
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send.
- Analytics data. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are popular. It is privacy-first and does not use cookies or fingerprinting, and it does not track you across other sites.
- Usage data. When you click a link to buy a book on Amazon, we record an anonymous, aggregate count of that click so we know which titles readers are interested in. This is not tied to your identity.
How we use your information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our books.
- To send newsletter emails you have subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email).
- To respond to messages you send us.
- To understand which content and books readers find useful.
Cookies and advertising
We may display advertising on the Site through third-party vendors, including Google.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our Site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- For more information about how Google uses data when you use our Site, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will ask for your consent before any personalized advertising cookies are set, in line with applicable law.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Site. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and privacy-first analytics.
- Buttondown — newsletter delivery (stores your email address only).
- Google AdSense — advertising (where shown).
- Amazon — our books are sold on Amazon; clicking a buy link takes you to Amazon, which has its own privacy policy.
Your rights and choices
- Newsletter: unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email, or email us to be removed.
- Advertising: opt out using the links in the Cookies and advertising section above.
- Access or deletion: email [email protected] to request a copy or deletion of any personal data we hold about you.
Children
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
